Intellicon App

MAE 188, Winter 2014

In this course, teams partner with an Industry to fulfill a given objective as defined by the company while also providing weekly progress reports to the instructors. A midterm presentation, participation in the Winter Design Review, and a final presentation are done in a 10 week span.

We partnered with Intellicon to design an iPhone App for Star Industries' Smart Smoke system; a device used to detects leaks in automobile engines through smoke emission.

From working with XCode without prior experience to relaying data in real time using SCPI , our team was able to tackle the task while gain immeasurable experience in product design.

I was extremely fortunate to work with a stellar team: Lew Piper-Team Lead & Admin Affairs, Anthony Zhu-Main XCode Programmer, Rochelle Parker- Marketing and Documentation Co-author, Henry Diep- Marketing and Documentation Co-Author, and myself- GUI Designer.
